I don’t want to be famous. I like to be able to sit in a cafe and watch the world go by and observe people. Sophia Myles

Nowadays, Café outlets provide more than just dining experience. With the menu items costs little expensive, Cafes also come up with foods with unique recipes that make the Millennials visit cafes regularly. The main USP of these cafes is that they are made to sit down and talk ambience or use Free Wifi until the order is ready. One such café I was glad exploring was Café Down the Alley, which Is India’s First comic café situated in the innovative capital Bengaluru. Today, I will share my experience and review Café Down the Alley, which will motivate you to visit this café.
The Café targets the youth of the nearby University.
I had a chat with the café manager about the café, he explained that the café does not only liked by the fans of Marvel and DC, but also the students of the nearby university. The café is been running smoothly for 3 years and was well received by Air Asia for its dining experience. Also, the café is a hotspot for events, competition and exhibitions. If you don’t like to be a part of events, then there are indoor games which will keep you engaged until your order gets ready.
How do the Interiors look like?
As the saying goes, “ The first impression is the best impression” and Café down the alley doesn’t disappoint you. With colourfully painted chairs, bean bags, Comic posters and books thereby creating a mesmerizing experience and make you visit again and again. If you think the letters in the menu looks small and jump into conclusion that you have an eye problem, relax! You can see the menu on the blackboard, which is presented beautifully.
How is the food?
The food was good and it was worth waiting for my order. The menu is watermarked with Marvel and DC superheroes, which shows that the Café down the alley has even concentrated on small and overlooked details. I ordered Lime Soda, Potato Sandwich and Maggi, which cost me 300 INR.
Lime Soda tasted like the one you can find in Pizza Hut. Potato sandwich was served with finger chips and the plate was decorated with sauce, which surprised me. My stomach was not satisfied after tasting Maggi, as the quantity was less and more water on the plate, which cost me 75INR.
I was excited to visit this unique type of café and go back home with memories. The owner of the café knows his audience well. A must-visit for superhero fans!
